Pre-K
Here at Victoria’s Castle Daycare we run a pre-k program to help ease students into their district pre-k or kindergarten program. We follow the pre-k foundation skills and standards and ensure that students are exposed to math, science, literacy and social studies daily. Their activities are NYS aligned and follow an educationally based curriculum with a weekly focus. In pre-K students will:
-
learn how to add and subtract
-
identify letters, days of the week, months
-
identify patterns
-
learn different science topics, such as living and nonliving, solids, liquids and gases, animals and life cycles
-
learn about their communities, families and the world around them
School Age
Our school age program is designed to be a safe space for children who attend public or private elementary schools/ pre-k to be.
During the pandemic, Victoria's Castle Daycare is working in collaboration with the local school district to implement a functional and supportive environment where students in a virtual setting can thrive.
